Nadia Nakai, YoungstaCPT and Cassper Nyovest were some of the big winners at the 8th Annual SA Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) ceremony on Wednesday 20 November 2019, at the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City, Johannesburg.

According to the SAHHA website, Nadia Nakai walked away with her first major music award, Best Female Rapper, while YoungstaCPT won the Winning Album of the Year for his album 3T and best video for YVR. Cassper Nyovest won Best Hustler and Best Promoter.

Other wins included Nasty C for best Digital Sales and Shane Eagle for Best Mixatpe, Dark Moon Flower.

About the SAHHA 

As shown on their website, the SAHHA is an annual Hip-Hop award ceremony, run by the Ritual Media Group (RMG). Great achievements within the local hip hop culture are celebrated by focusing on how the past has shaped this phenomenon called “SA Hip Hop.”
