AFRICA: The 4th GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize accelerates on sustainable food

The fourth edition of the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize organized by Generation Africa, a start-up coaching initiative, is launched. The competition aims to support businesses operating in agro-technology, waste recovery, women empowerment and community growth to promote sustainable food on the African continent.

“Putting in place a system that provides both adequate food and sustainable jobs for the continent. These words from Dickson Naftali, the head of Generation Africa, set the tone for the launch of the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize 2022.

The competition is supported by Econet, a telecommunications conglomerate, and Yara International, a chemical company based in Oslo, Norway. The event is also supported by the Confederation of Agricultural Unions of Southern Africa (SACAU), the German pharmaceutical company Bayer and the African Development Bank (AfDB).
